CIS maintenance: 19th April 2012

Due to technical issues, the planned work from the 11th April to upgrade Duo and the JANET connection has been rescheduled to between 06:00 and 08:30 on Thursday 19th April. Please be aware that access to duo and University web based services (e.g. OWA, the University website, etc.) will be disrupted whilst the work is taking place.

These two pieces of work will upgrade our connection to the JANET network, increasing our bandwidth capacity, and improve duo's performance whilst under heavy usage.

Whilst the work is taking place duo will be unavailable, users within the University will be unable to access internet based services outside the University and users external to the University will be unable to access web based services within the University. The will affect a number of web based services (e.g. OWA, the University web sites, etc).

If we experience any technical issues whilst the work is being carried out, a further attempt will be made to complete the work between 06:00 and 09:00 on 20/04/12.
