The British Open Go Tournament - 20th-22nd April

One of the largest Go tournaments in the UK is coming to Durham! Go is one of the world's great strategy board games, originating over 3000 years ago in China. It's quick to pick up the rules, but becoming a strong player can be a life's work.

The British Open attracts players from across the country and from abroad. It moves around the UK, and this year will be held in Durham.

There's a huge range of strengths entering, so almost any players will be able to have some interesting games.

 

There will also be side events, open to anyone.
