Get fit for Summer - new lunchtime classes on the timetable
(27 April 2012)
It's the start of summer term and with the new exercise class timetable at Maiden Castle there are now many more opportunities to get into shape ready for summer.
Particularly for University staff, more lunchtime classes have been added to the timetable including 'Fitball Core' - an express 40 minute class on the fitball combining toning the major mucle groups with increased core stability. Copies of the new timetable are available from reception or go online: http://www.teamdurham.com/fitnesssupport/exerciseclasses/
Also take advantage of the expanded timetable of fitness and special offers, including the option to purchase a monthly pass which lets you try as many classes as you like from only £20 per month. It's a good way to try out what works for you; whether its toning up with Pilates or Body Tone, whether it's an outdoor total body workout with Bootcamp or whether you want to party yourself into shape with Zumba! You can also expect to see new additions to the timetable this term, like Bokwa, the new fitness craze sweeping the country.
Classes are fun and sociable and take place in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening after work so relax, let off some steam and get fit for summer at the same time by taking advantage of the fitness classes at the University Sports Centre, Maiden Castle.
