Global Learning Centre

Durham Business School

Durham Business School has recently undertaken the merger of its distance learning and distance taught programmes to create the new Global Learning Centre.

The Centre brings together an international network of 75+ nationalities representing more than 60% of the whole University's part-time students. The Distance Learning MBA is now known as the Global MBA and provides the opportunity to blend a programme that contains taught courses to fit to individual needs, including a specialist team trained to support student needs.

A new range of Executive Education courses via the blended learning route are under development, these will include opportunities for alumni to take Global MBA modules on a standalone basis in order to improve and update their knowledge.

The Global Learning Centre is investing heavily in e-learning and is able to bring together students from around the world for interactive seminars, online guest speakers and new events including the Global MBA Summer School and the International MA Summer School.

All of which will provide increased opportunities for life-long learning. Further information can be found at: www.durham.ac.uk/dbs/dl
