DUCK

DUCK (Durham University Charities Kommittee) exists to raise money and awareness for local, national and international charities. It has had a good first term with events ranging from a naked calendar to a Grand Durham Duck Race! Next term at DUCK promises to be just as exciting.
Fundraising for DUCK's expeditions gets underway in January so expect to see a lot of people in strange outfits, rag raiding around Durham. On 31st of January DUCK are supporting their first ever 'Tough Guy' competition. Thirty Durham students head off to Wolverhampton to take part in an 8km run followed by an army designed assault course to raise money for charity. DUCK week is in February and will include a charity debate, a fun run through Durham and DUCK's new 'Lost' challenge, where DUCK drops 50 pairs of Durham students all over the country and they compete to see who can make it back to Durham in the least time!
