DEI Researchers invited to attend ITF Showcase

Service companies and other universities, including Aberdeen, Heriot-Watt, Glasgow Caledonian and Strathclyde, displayed stands at the event. Representatives from companies such as Chevron, Total, BG group, and BP also attended.

The DEI/CeREES stand had a lot of interest and visitors were impressed with the research topics and the enthusiastic PhD students who volunteered to attend: Amy Clarke, Kirstie Wright and Leo Newport. Most interest was in CCS, unconventional hydrocarbons, and biofuels.

 Leo Newport said, "We hope that this has helped increase the national presence of the DEI, CeREES, and Durham University Earth Sciences, and importantly encouraged curiosity from industry".
