Durham Energy Project Finalist in 2011 IET Innovation Awards

The Dynamic Energy Storage System project is down to the last five in the Power / Energy category of the annual awards, to be held in London on 9 November. The research has provided modelling and simulation work for the first deployment of an energy storage system on a UK distribution network.
This is the second time in 2 years that projects at Durham Energy Institute have been shortlisted, and DEI is the current award holder.
