Biography
Riham gained a joint honours degree in Accounting and Marketing from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. She then went on to complete her MBA at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Egypt where she was a Lecturer in Accounting.
Riham joined Durham University Business School in 2000 as a PhD candidate and started teaching for the Department of Economics and Finance in 2003. Riham is BA Accounting and Finance Course Leader, teaching Management Accounting, Financial Planning and Control, and Business Accounting and Finance on undergraduate programmes and Managing Finance and Microperspectives in Business on postgraduate programmes.
Riham is a member of the Center for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) and the Social Responsibility Research Network (SRRNet).
