Biography

Kevin joined Durham Business School in 2004, having previously taught at Northumbria and Sunderland Universities. As well as being a Senior Teaching Fellow, he is also Deputy Director of Distance Learning at Durham Business School, which reflects his interest in the role of eLearning in promoting student learning. He has published on eLearning and has been invited to speak on the subject at conferences in the UK. In 2001 he won the prize for an ‘Outstanding Electronic Resource’ from the Economics Network of the Higher Education Academy. In 2006 he was invited to become an Associate of the Economics Network.

Over the years, Kevin has taught economics and strategy to specialist and non-specialists at undergraduate and postgraduate level. At Durham, Kevin teaches first year economics, intermediate microeconomics to business, accounting and finance students, as well as teaching economics on the MA in Management and MBA programmes. He also supervises a number of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

Kevin’s other publications are the fields of public policy and strategy. He is also involved in consultancy projects and has facilitated workshops on strategy for corporate clients in the UK and overseas.
