Employers today are increasingly selective and look for more than just a good first degree. A Durham Masters can give you a competitive edge in an over-crowded job market by helping you develop the skills and knowledge directly relevant to employers' needs.

Our Masters programmes are designed as generalist, career entry degrees. The curriculum covers the relevant theoretical, conceptual and practical aspects of the subject before allowing you to specialise in your chosen area.

You will be taught by world-class faculty at the cutting-edge of research into business, management, economics and finance. Modules are taught by staff active in their field of research; teaching is informed therefore by the latest developments in the subject, enabling us to provide a challenging and stimulating educational environment.

At a glance

Duration: 12 months full-time

Entry requirements: a good Upper Second class honours degree or overseas equivalent (see How to apply for more details)

Fees 2012/13: Management programmes: £9,000 pa for EU students; £15,500 pa for non-EU students;
MSc Strategic Marketing: £9,500 pa for EU students; £17,500 pa for non-EU students.
Please note: from 1 May 2011 an application fee of £40 will apply for full-time programmes.
