Training Module

The University has developed an online training course to provide an introductory grounding in: 

  • Records Management
  • Information Security
  • Data Protection
  • Freedom of Information

The module is suitable for all staff with access to an University network and should take approximately half an hour to complete. In order for the system to register that you have undertaken the course, you must work through the entire module including the end of module quiz. You will be able to print a certificate when you successfully pass the quiz.

The module is available on DUO. Staff can access it from their DUO homepage using their CIS username and CIS password. DUO can be found at https://duo.dur.ac.uk/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp and the module is located within the "training course" section of the homepage.
