Track and Field Sessions

The Track and Field sessions cater for many of the athletic events from Pole Vault to 60m. Athletes split off into groups, such as middle distance, sprints, jumps etc. and they work with one of our coaches who have designed a session for them.
The sessions will constanly vary and the coaches are very able to cater for all abilities. |
| Often during the first two terms the middle distance sessions are on the grass field nearby. The main track and field sessions are Tuesday and Thursday nights and Saturday and Sunday morning Attendence is recommended for those really looking to place high at competitions like BUCS. | ![]() |
If you are not sure about what event you should be doing, or any questions at all about training, either get in touch, or come down to training and ask us or our coaches. Again, you can train at your own pace, and quite often the sub-groups themselves are split according to ability so you shouldn't find yourself running alone!
After the sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday, stay around because the club often eats together (to avoid having to do so 30 minutes before coming down to training!) in Maiden Castle itself which offers very reasonably priced pasta.
