Becky: 23.02.09 - 01.03.09

Monday: (am) 60 minutes swimming. (pm) 55 minute run w/Fliss & Andy. Legs felt pretty tight & tired from the weekend.

Tuesday: (pm) 25 WU. 4*1k w/3mins jog/walk rec. 20WD. Aim was to run these at 3k pace, Davy said aim for 3.27’s … was running pretty much spot on and got 3.27, 3.28, 3.29, 3.24. Was pleased to be getting the pace right given that I did the session on my own.

Alex Davy Training 16/02/09 - 22/02/09

Monday:

60 min + strides. 40 min with Becky, Fliss, Andy, G, and Proc. Run to and from MC + road loop. Nice run

Tuesday:

PM – 16min WU; 5*2.5min with 30s jog recovery (2min) 4 laps of straights and bends. 22 min WD

Really warm conditions and felt good, though HRM says heart rate hit 199bpm! which it wouldn’t normally, must be from having had cold.

Wednesday:

53min + strides. Easy group run around the Prison Run. Felt a bit heavy.

Thursday:

Rest

Friday:

35 min out and back along the river with Proc.

Saturday:

Sunday 22/02; Monday 23/02

Sunday: National Cross-Country, London.

Seriously considering having a leg amputated for the 2010 event.

It would certainly lead to increased performance.

Monday: REST and a Mars Bar.

Becky: 16.02.09 - 22.02.09

Ok, last week I lied, the National XC is not my last cross country of the season because I'm now doing the Inter-Counties in Nottingham on 7th March! Hopefully I will finish the season well there, and not find that 8km is a bit too far ...

Monday: (am) 60 minutes swimming. (pm) 63 minutes run with Davy, Proc, Fliss, Andy & Gareth. Felt pretty good, think it helps running later in the day after swimming in the morning.
