Following the excellent report on the Braids Hill Race, i feel i've got quite a challenge to match that, so here goes.....

Last weekend saw a clash in the cross country fixture list with the Gateshead Cross Challenge and the Edinburgh Braid hills race falling on the same day. Most of DUAXC's elite chose to showcase their talents against the high quality field at Gateshead, the report for that race is just above here (to be honest you probably saw it first!). As for Edinburgh, just two hardy DUAXC members made the trip north to the fearsome Braid hills.

...the worlds most popular half marathon. And with entries numbering more than 50000 for the last few years, that popularity is unlikely to decline any time soon.
