President's Foreword

Hello and welcome to Durham University Concert Band! We are a non-auditioning wind band, open to student musicians of all abilities. We aim to have fun while rehearsing to a good standard, and have a broad repertoire including jazz, classical and film. Each term we hold concerts in Durham city, often joint with other musical societies. As well as rehearsing weekly on a Sunday afternoon, we also hold socials for our members to encourage participation and camaraderie within the band. So come and join us if you’d like to play in the Concert Band or we’d love to see you at our concerts for an evening of entertaining live music!
