Join the Media Guide to Expertise
This is an online guide for use by the media relations office and journalists to identify Durham University staff who are willing to speak to the media on their area of expertise.
The guide has been developed as part of a strategy to give Durham University a global media profile and to provide informed and accurate information to journalists on a range of topics.
Experts listed in this guide have appeared on broadcast outlets including BBC World Service / BBC Radio 4 / Sky News / BBC Radio 5 Live; and have featured in publications such as the Wasington Times / Boston Globe / The Hindu / Times of India / Daily Telegraph / Independent and the Financial Times.

Join the Media Guide to Expertise
Step 1: Select the following link: http://cms.dur.ac.uk/CMSADMIN/data/profiles/
Step 2: Type in your ITS username and password
Step 3: Click ‘Edit own staff profile'
Step 4: Scroll down to ‘Staff Information' and click ‘Edit Media Contact Information'
Step 5: Follow the instructions, clicking ‘Add Entry' to enter each area of expertise.
You can re-enter your staff profile media contact information at any time in order to add or remove entries.
