Communications Office: Marketing

Corporate publications

The Strategic Marketing Team is responsible for producing the University's growing portfolio of corporate publications. These reports, newsletters, magazines and leaflets cater to a wide variety of internal and external audiences and serve a number of functions.

Undergraduate Prospectus

We co-ordinate production of the University's undergraduate prospectus alongside the undergraduate Pocket Prospectus. The undergraduate prospectus is published in February every year, and work begins on updating it in July of the previous year. It currently has an annual distribution of 60,000 copies.

The Pocket Prospectus is a compact guide to Durham used by the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office at UCAS Recruitment Fairs and other events. The timings of the Pocket Prospectus coincide with the production of the main undergradaute prospectus, and is published at the same time to be ready for the first UCAS fairs.

Each yeah we produce a personlised, electronic version of both the prospectus, alongside the respective printed edition. Check out Your Prospectus to create your own online prospectus!

Dialogue

The University news magazine is published every other month and is circulated to staff and students across the University. It covers a wide variety of material including general news, research success, sport, outreach work and personal achievements. Dialogue is also available online.

Dialogue replaces The News. An archive of past issues of The News is still available.

IN Words & Pictures

In Words & Pictures

We have recently collaborated with the International Office to produce 'In Words & Pictures'. This publication is targeted towards a wide external audience and provides an impressive visual representation of the University, reflecting it's world - class status.
