How to write promotional copy

Producing effective copy is essential to the success of any advert, brochure, website or other piece of marketing material. The Strategic Marketing Team have produced a couple of guides to help with this. The key points outlined in each are:

  • Start from the persepective of your audience
  • Keep it short and focussed
  • Consider your call to action (i.e. what you want your audience to actually do)
  • Ensure headlines, body copy and images work in harmony
