Course listings
The Marketing Team maintains Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught course listings on the University’s courses database (www.durham.ac.uk/courses). Information is updated annually in line with the production of the printed prospectus.
Adding or removing courses
Please inform marketing.team@durham.ac.uk if a course appears on the database which is no longer running, or if a course does not appear which has been approved. Please note that we are unable to add courses to the database until a UCAS code has been allocated, so please ensure first of all that the course has been approved and a code has been allocated.
Please fill out the pro-forma for any approved new course which needs to be added to the database.
Updating course details
If course details need updating please contact marketing.team@durham.ac.uk and outline what needs to be changed. Please note the following:
- Course titles are drawn automatically from Banner, so any changes will need to be updated there in the first instance (please discuss this with the Academic Support Office and Student Planning and Assessment).
- Course fees are also drawn automatically from Banner, so please discuss any discrepancies with the Finance Department.
- Changes to A-Level and IB offers need to be confirmed first of all with Student Recruitment and Admissions, so please ensure you forward the necessary correspondence to the Marketing Team in order for updates to be undertaken.
- Learning and Teaching statements are compiled via the Academic Support Office, so please confirm any changes with ASO in the first instance, and then forward the necessary correspondence to the Marketing Team in order for updates to be undertaken.
