- The Common Seal of the Council shall be in the form approved by the Council.
- The Seal shall be kept at the University Office, and be secured by two keys, one to be in the custody of the Registrar and Secretary, and the other in the custody of the Treasurer.
- The Seal to any document shall be affixed only in pursuance of a specific resolution of the Council and shall be witnessed by the signature either of two members of the Council or of one member of the Council and of the Registrar and Secretary or the Treasurer.
- The Treasurer shall keep a Sealing Register in which particulars of documents sealed, the date of sealing and the names of the persons witnessing the sealing, shall be recorded. The Register shall be available for consultation by any member of the Council and the entries therein shall be communicated to the Council.
