Financial Framework

HEFCE Financial Memorandum

Council has designated the Vice-Chancellor and Warden as the Designated Officer with specific responsibility for satisfying Council that the conditions of the HEFCE's Financial Memorandum are complied with. The Designated Officer shall advise Council if, at any time, any action or policy under consideration by Council appears to the Designated Officer to be incompatible with the terms of the Financial Memorandum.

Under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellor as Designated Officer, the Treasurer shall be responsible for the financial business of the University.
