Miss Paulina Lubacz, FCCA

Paulina Lubacz is Treasurer of the University, a post she has held since 1988 having previously been Deputy Treasurer since 1985.  Before coming to Durham she held various posts in the Bursar's Department at the University of Manchester.

As Treasurer, Paulina is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the financial business of the University.  She has lead responsibility on the University Executive Committee for finance, estates, procurement, commercial matters and emergency planning.

Paulina is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants.  She has been a member of HEFCE's Strategic Advisory Committee on Leadership Governance and Management and the Audit Committee of the Arts and Humanities Research Council.  She is also Chairman of Universities Mutual Association Limited, which is a mutual insurance organization for the higher education sector.  Paulina represents the University on a number of local partnership boards in Durham.

She is a member of the University Executive Committee and in attendance at Council meetings.
