No, but there are quotas for specific modules, although such modules are not common other than in the Department of History. We cannot guarantee that you will secure a place in any module subject to a quota – but we can guarantee that you will not be disadvantaged by virtue of being a Combined Honours student instead of a Single Honours or a Joint Honours student, and the chances of your name being drawn in the departmental ballot for places are as good as anybody else’s.
