Combined Honours

FAQs

+What is your attitude towards applicants who have disabilities?

In accordance with University policy, and in conjunction with departments, the colleges, and Durham University Service for Students with Disabilities (DUSSD), we aim to provide appropriate care and support for students who have a disability or any other physical or psychological condition which has a significant impact on their studies. We will give sympathetic consideration to every application, and we will not reject any application on the grounds of a disability or any other condition. It is essential, however, that you declare any relevant facts in your application, so that your needs are known to the University at the earliest possible opportunity; if, for example, your mobility is impaired, the location of a number of departments in listed buildings, with no lifts and narrow corridors, might make it difficult for you to attend seminars and tutorials, but if we have sufficient information we can ensure that these commitments are wherever possible scheduled to take place in ground floor rooms.
