The Foundation programme

If you have few if any academic qualifications, or you took these qualifications some time ago, you can apply for a place on the Combined Honours in Social Sciences programme via the Foundation programme at Queen's Campus in Stockton-on-Tees.

Each application will be assessed on its own merits, taking your life skills and your professional experience into consideration. There is no upper age limit.

If accepted, you will be required to pass all of the ‘Level 0' modules which you take in the Foundation programme in order to proceed to Level 1 in Combined Honours in Social Sciences.

If you are taking or have taken the University's International Foundation Year, or a similar foundation programme at another Higher Education Institution, we will consider your application on its own merits.
