Pre-Application Open Days

You can get a taste of what Durham University and Collingwood College has to offer, by attending one of our pre-application open days.  The University will be offering the following pre-application open days in Durham City 2012:

• Monday 25 June, 2012
• Saturday 30 June, 2012
• Saturday 22 September, 2012

These events will provide an opportunity for those interested in Durham University to gain a real insight into the Durham student experience. Departments, colleges and other student support services and facilities will be available for talks, tours and demonstrations. There will be an opportunity to meet Collingwood staff and to view our facilities.  There is also likely to be a limited amount of University managed accommodation available.

Places will be limited and therefore pre-booking will be required to attend an open day.  The booking system will open approximately six weeks in advance of the open days.  We do expect our open days to be very busy; you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.  For further information please see the University's 'Visit Us' pages.

If you are unable to attend one of the open days, we provide smaller scale opportunities to visit Collingwood.   Please see below for further information.

Post-application Open Days

Most people who are made a University offer and are allocated to Collingwood College are invited to join us for one of the University post-application open days held at the end of March. Details of these will be included in the letter outlining your offer. If you get the chance, do come for the open day, they're very informative and a lot of fun. Our students are very keen to make sure everyone coming to an open day has a really good time.

If you are unable to come to a pre-application open day, but would still like to visit Collingwood College, please email collingwood.admissions@durham.ac.uk, and we will try to arrange for one of our students or sabbatical officers to show you around.
