Senior Common Room

The SCR is a body made up of past and present members of the University, College Mentors and local people with an interest in the College. All Collingwood postgraduate students are honorary members by right, as are the Sabbatical JCR President and the Sabbatical Bar Steward. The SCR is an integral part of the life of Collingwood College, and is working very hard to strengthen its connections with both JCR and MCR communities.

The SCR meets regularly through a variety of social events. The SCR is also a room on the ground floor at the front of the building, and it is reached through the foyer.

We always welcome new members, and have put together a varied programme of events to entice along a diverse range of people. So come along and join in, we look forward to meeting you!

The image on the left represents a stained glass panel created by SCR member Edwin Fellows to commemorate Sir Edward Collingwood and the first four Principals of the College. The panel is mounted in the SCR - come and see it.
