All first year students are guaranteeded a room in college and most final year students opt to live back in. The rooms are allocated to non-first years according to a random room ballot, where 4^th years get priority over 3^rd year finalists, who have priority over 3rd year non-finalists, who have priority over 2^nd years. Places at the top of the ballot are allocated to officers and one DUCK auctioned room.
