John Snow College

John Snow College has close links with the Wolfson Research Institute. Planned collaborative events for 2012/13 include WRI seminars (in WRI) followed by College Formals (in Waterside). One of recent WRI initiatives is the creation of SIGs (Special Interest Groups), one of which (RCTs and Systematic Reviews in the Social Sciences) is chaired by Carole Torgerson. The Steering Group meetings of this SIG take place in John Snow SCR, and the next SIG workshop takes place in advance of a College Formal dinner. Also new for 2012/13, college dining for PGs (Fridays) which will be delivered alongside a scholarly programme of activities (invited lectures), run in conjunction with DBS.
