Soft Matter & Biological Physics

Sitting within the Centre for Materials Physics, we are the Department of Physics' component of the Durham Soft Matter Centre, which brings together researchers across Durham with interests in soft matter and biological physics: from the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the School Of Engineering and Computer Sciences. We also have close links with the Biophysical Sciences Institute, through which we run our seminar series.
