Arnab wins E&Y Entrepreneur of the year 2009

Durham graduate (Ustinov College) with a Ph.D. in Physics, class of 2003, Dr Arnab Basu, was one of the finalists for the North and Midlands region Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year 2009. Dr Basu, the CEO of Durham Scientific Crystals Ltd (trading as Kromek), Sedgefield - manufacturer of medical and precision instruments won his catergory at the prestigious awards dinner held at the Ubis Manchester. 

The judges described him as "a great leader and manager, with great vision."
