The Centre's Post-Doctoral Research Associates, Fellows and Postgraduate Students meet with some staff once a term. Typically, these meetings discuss socials and Centre outings but can also discuss matters arising associated with intergroup meetings, seminars etc which eveyone in the centre is invited to attend.

The Society organises: a welcome party for new staff, postdocs and students of CMP; science-related trips for example the Life Centre; and social events such as CMP lunches and the Christmas Lunch.
