Training available for the CMS and staff profile database
A programme of courses to support the development of departmental web pages is under development. The following courses are currently available:
- An introduction to the Content Management System
- The Role of the Site Manager in the CMS
- Editing Special Content
- Editing staff profiles
- The Role of the Departmental Administrator in the Staff Profile database
The procedure for setting up departmental and college web pages within the CMS involves a series of meetings between the departmental web editors, the CIS web team and the Marketing Office. At the first of these meetings the training requirements for the department will be established, and further review meetings will be scheduled after training as required.
