The Information Technology Service offers a range of accessibility-related services.

Accessibility Assessments

  • Accessibility assessments manually check a site for compliance to a level of the Web Accessibility Initiative recommendations.
  • The steps needed to bring a site into compliance with the next level of the recommendations will be summarised.
  • A detailed page-by-page report of the site can be produced if necessary, although this may take some time on larger sites.

There is no charge for this service.

The Content Management System and Accessibility

The Content Management System deals with several accessibility issues as part of its templating and authoring capabilities. Other issues still require manual work and we will continue to provide advice on those issues.
