Readers & file viewers
The Adobe Acrobat reader is required for viewing pdf files. Ghostview may be used to view PostScript files and other graphic formats.

Microsoft Office file viewers
If you do not have Microsoft Office installed on your machine, Microsoft have made available viewer software so that you can view (but not edit) documents created by other people using the Microsoft Office Package. The viewer software only works on Windows 98/ME, NT, 2000 or xp.
