Tony heads up the PMO and is also project manager of the CIU (Communications Infrastructure Upgrade) project and programme manager of the Unified Infrastructure Programme (UIP).

Tony joined Durham University in November 2008 after more than 20 years project management experience with Digital, ICL, and Honeywell Aviation.

Martin joined the University in May 2005 after spending more than 10 years working in logistics as a project manager. He has been involved in the data warehouse pilot project and the early stages of the CASSS project, but has spent the majority of his working time at the University managing the MITRE contract / service delivery with Unisys.

He is currently the IT Project Manager for the Management Information Programme and remains involved with the MITRE Service Delivery Team as they are integrated into the wider ITS.

Antony joined Durham University in April 2009 and is currently the Project Manager for the CASSS project.

He joined us after working on out-sourcing and off-shoring projects for Deutsche Bank, prior to that he was employed as an Implementation Consultant in the Public Housing sector for 6 years.

Mr James Macura

Jim joined the University in January 2010 as the Service Transition Manager for the CASSS project and is currently the Gateway IT Project Manager.

He has over 35 years experience in the IT industry including Operations, Technical Support, Software Development, Consultancy and Service and Project Management.

Mr James Pettican

James is a Durham alumnus and joined the University as a member of staff in 2003. Following spells with Finance and Estates & Buildings he joined ITS in 2006 and is a founder member of the PMO. He currently has responsibility for the Security Hardening Project and co-delivers the University's Introduction to Project Management course.

Mrs Louise Anderson

Business Analyst in the Computing and Information Services

Louise joined University in 2007, as part of the Business Improvement section within the Finance Department. She was appointed Business Analyst within the PMO in July 2011 and is primarily involved in requirements analysis and business process reviews with key stakeholders on the main IT related projects.

Prior to joining the University she worked in manufacturing and local government.

Christine joined the Operations section of the IT Service in August 2000. Her experience in projects began in March 2007 when she became a Project Assistant on Phase 1 of the Service Improvement Project. In April 2009 she was appointed Project Support Officer within the Programme Management Office.

She is primarily involved in the day-to-day operations of the Programme Office with a supporting role on each of the main IT related projects running out of the PMO.
