NPCSLite

Departments and Colleges who have equipment that no longer satisfy NPCS minimum specifications ,may wish to consider NPCS Lite.

We recognise the fact that Microsoft and other applications demand more with regards to hardware requirements, with this in mind we have developed NPCS Lite to utilise old hardware.

There are only a limited number of applications installed. IE for web browsing and email, Microsoft Office plus virus scanning. Printing will also be available.

Due to the fact these machines are approaching the end of their life cycle no hardware maintenance will be available.

PC specification for NPCSLite as of 1st September 2009

Processor: Intel P4 2000
Memory: 512Mbytes
Hard disk: 20 Gbytes
Supported network card: Intel pro family.

The annual cost is the same as normal NPCS.
