Microsoft applications

Microsoft Office applications are the major CIS-supported personal productivity applications available within the University. The up-to-date versions of the Office, and some other, applications are installed on the Networked PC service. Many products are available to staff within the University under the Microsoft Campus Agreement. Several products which are not covered by this agreement may be purchased via the Microsoft Select Agreement. Students may obtain copies of some Microsoft applications via the Microsoft Student Select 6 Agreement.

CIS support

CIS produces a large number of in-house guides to using Microsoft Office applications. Copies may be obtained from the IT Service Desk.

CIS runs a series of training courses each term. Each schedule includes several courses on the use of Microsoft Office applications. For details please see the current training schedule.
