Printer cartridge recycling

Recycle your empty Inkjet Cartridges

CIS has introduced a recycling scheme for inkjet cartridges. You can deposit your old inkjet cartridges in the recycle bins at the main IT Service Desk in Durham and at the IT Service Desk at Queen's Campus, Stockton. Alternatively, you can send your old inkjet cartridges to the Service Desk and we will ensure that they are placed in the recycle bins.

Why recycle your Inkjet Cartridges?

By recycling your inkjet cartridges not only will you be helping the environment, but helping to fund the Great North Air Ambulance. This is a local charity which operates 3 helicopters covering the North of England, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. They provide invaluable emergency cover for more remote regions and back up the ground based emergency services whenever possible. If you would like to know more about the Great North Air Ambulance please visit the web page: http://www.greatnorthairambulance.co.uk/

 Laser Toner Cartridges

All toner cartridges are supplied with a prepaid label which can be attached to the original box and then used for the return of the old cartridge. CIS recommend that this should be the standard practice of disposing of used toner cartridges in an environmentally friendly way for them to be recycled.
