How much central disk space am I allocated?
All users are give a standard allocation of disk space (accessible as you J: drive on NPCS and MDS and your home directory on linux/unix)when the account is created. These are
Staff and Postgraduates - 200mb
MDS Users - 500mb
Undergraduates - 100mb
What are the opening times for classrooms?
Classrooms and open access facilities are available during the times the building in which they are located is open. The Computer Centre in the Computing and Mathematics Building on the Science Site is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but outside 0730-1830 on weekdays, access can be obtained by using your campus card. Most of the computer classrooms may be used for open access when they are not booked for classes. During booked classes only those users who are members of the booked class may use the classrooms.
