To recover deleted items in Office 365.

1. Right-click the Deleted Items folder
2. Select Recover Deleted Items from the options available
3. Select the items you wish to recover and click the Recover Deleted Items icon - the items will be moved to your Deleted Items folder

To recover deleted items in Outlook.

1. From the Folder Tab, click the Recover Deleted Items icon
2. Select the items you wish to recover
3. Click the Recover Deleted Items icon - the items will be moved to your Deleted Items folder

The IMAP and SMTP settings for Office 365 are as follows:

IMAP settings
Server name: pod51016.outlook.com
Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL

SMTP settings 
Server name: pod51016.outlook.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS
