Flashback Trojan

As you will be aware there has been a trojan affecting appox 600,00 Macs  across the world

Information from Apple Support


To protect your machine, you should ensure that :

  • your Mac is running the latest Apple updates.
  • you install an Antimalware package
  • check that your Mac has not been infected with the trojan

Install Antimalware Software

For University Machines - Please visit the IT Servicedesk for a loan CD containing Mcafee VirusScan 9.1

 

Check that your Mac has not been infected with the Flashback trojan

As well as a full scan with your Antivirus product there are specific tools for the Flashback trojan

If you have OSX 10.7 ( Lion)
