Durham Digital Ocean Bottom Seismometer
We have  a wide range of interests that mainly focus around the application of a pool of ocean-bottom seismographs to the study of mid-ocean ridges, fracture zones, continental margins and the mechanical properties of the lithosphere.

Current targets of activity are listed below, with links to relevant cruise reports, papers and other information.

We are one of the founding members and operators of the UK Ocean-Bottom Instrumentation Consortium and further information on the equipment in and the use of this facility can be found by following this link .
