The Department of Chemistry at Durham University has been placed in the top three in the 2013 subject league tables published by The Independent newspaper. Durham Chemistry was also ranked third in The Independent and The Times newspapers in 2012 and 2011. Our consistent high ranking reflects our long-term and continued commitment to teaching and the student experience.
