Eyes & Vision

Vision is one of our most important senses, but as with any other part of the body, our eyes are subject to diseases. In our ageing society, these diseases occur more frequently and both methods of diagnosing the disease early on is important, but also developing a better understanding of how the optical properties of the eye link in with the brain’s ability to interpret the data into images.

Our work on Vision includes looking at how aberrations affect vision, new instrumentation for making better displays, and work on drug delivery in the eye.
