Guest Tickets
To request tickets for Summer Congregation students must access the Congregation and Registration system on DUO.
Students can request up to 4 extra tickets, in addition to the 2 guaranteed, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so remember to register early as we anticipate a high demand.
Guests must have a ticket to enter the Cathedral and graduands do not require a ticket.
There is no charge for tickets.
Seating
Guests will be guided into seats by University marshals as they arrive in the Cathedral, seated from the front to the back. The first 2 guests of each student will be seated in the Nave of the Cathedral with additional guests seated in the Side Aisles. The view in the Side Aisles is restricted due to the Cathedral architecture, however television monitors will be installed throughout the Cathedral to enhance the viewing of the event.
Children are welcome at Congregation and guests are encouraged to bring along (quiet) toys to keep them entertained during the ceremony. Children that require a seat will need a ticket, only babies (under 2 years old) can sit on a guests knee.
Ticket Collection
Tickets can be collected by students or guests*:
EITHER before Congregation on Monday 24 June from Room PCL054 in the Law School, Palatine Centre
OR on the day of the ceremony from the Ticket Desk in the marquee on Palace Green
*Students need to report to the Great Hall of the Castle 1 hour and 10 minutes before the ceremony and will not meet their guests again until after the ceremony. Students should ensure that they have passed tickets to guests before going to the Great Hall or inform guests to collect the tickets.
