My Research

Fully funded PhD by Statoil inverstiagting the seismic stratigraphy of the Faroe-Shetland Escarpment. Current research is focused on 2D and 3D seismic reflection analysis of a lava-fed delta system in the central portion of the Faroe-Shetland Basin. This project has mapped the development of the lava-fed delta system, and now aims to reconstruct the depositional environment in terms of relative sea level, volcanic sediment supply and available accommodation space while understanding the unique geomorphology of the delta.
