CeREES Centre for Geoenergy

Geo-Energy Scholarship Programme

The CeREES Geo-Energy Scholarship Programme is aimed at highly motivated geoscience graduates (BSc and MSc) who want to undertake a PhD in Geo-Energy, and also aspire to work as professionals in the energy industry. The Geo-Energy PhD Scholarship Programme trains and nurtures some of the highest calibre PhD researchers in Europe and provides a structured framework for entry into the energy industry. The Geo-Energy PhD Scholarship Programme is unique in the UK, as it provides additional monthly short courses taught by industry experts and is designed to provide regular interaction with industry professionals. PhD topics offered as part of the program will be across a broad range of geology and geophysics disciplines and students will work in a challenging environment that demands full commitment to research and learning.
