Geothermal

Geothermal energy offers a low carbon, clean, non intermittent energy source. In response to increased global interest in geothermal systems we are building upon our longstanding expertise in this field. CeREES has expertise in the exploitation of geothermal energy from low to medium grade geothermal aquifers, the production water from oil and gas fields, microseismicity linked with volcanically active regions, and the optimisation of the process for generation of heat and electricity from low temperature resources.
