Visiting Scholars

Professor Dawn L Rothe, PhD, of Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, was a visiting scholar with the Centre for Criminal Law and Criminal Justice in May 2009. Dr Rothe is one of the most eminent sociological scholars in the US dealing with issues such as state crime and international criminal justice. She was awarded the Critical Criminologist of the Year award by the American Society of Criminology at its 2009 annual meeting in St. Louis.  More details can be found on the Old Dominion website.

Dr Awad Al-Khalaf  of Sharjah University is a visiting scholar with the Centre for Criminal Law and Criminal Justice during June and July 2011.
